Radius of 2nd cylinder = 3x

Curved Surface Area of 1st cylinder = 3.14 x Radius x h

Curved Surface Area of 2nd cylinder = 3.14 x Radius x h

CSA of 1st Cylinder/ CSA of 2nd Cylinder = 3.14 x x x h/ 3.14 x 3x x h

                                                                    = x/3x

                                                                    = 1/3
