Given : A circle and three square inside of 6 , 12 & 18 sides

To find : Radius of circle

Solution:

Three squares : 6 * 6   , 12 * 12 & 18 * 18

as all these are squares

hence all horizontal lines are parallel to each other

We know that perpendicular bisector of chord passes through center of circle

=> Center will lie on perpendicular bisector of 6  & 18 length chord

& perpendicular bisector will be same line for both

Let say distance of center of circle from mid point of 6 length chord = x

then distance of center of circle from mid point of 18 length chord = 36 - x

Let Radius = R

=> R² = x² + 3²     ( 6/2 = 3)

   R²  = (36 - x)²  + 9²   ( 18/2 = 9)

=>  x² + 3²  =  (36 - x)²  + 9²

=> x² + 9 = 36² + x²  - 72x + 81

=> 72x = 36² + 72

=> x = 18 + 1

=> x = 19

R² = x² + 3²

=> R² = 19² + 3²

=> R² = 361 + 9

=> R² = 370

=> R = √370

=> R = 19.23

Radius of circle = √370 = 19.23
