SOLUTIONS:

First Made the denominator of both the

number equal.

So, to do this take LCM.

\underline\bold{The\: LCM\: of\: 4\: and \:5 \:is\: 20\: :}

since they don't have Common factor

other than 1 so, Multiply 5 and 4.

Multiplying 1/4 both denominator and

Numerator by 5 we got.

 \frac{1}{4} \times \frac{5}{5} = \frac{5}{20}

And 1/5 by 4 on both denominator and numerator we got

 \frac{1}{5} \times \frac{4}{4} = \frac{4}{20}

Now Multiply by 4 on both the no's.both

Numerator and denominator.

 \frac{5}{20} \times \frac{4}{4} = \frac{20}{80}

And

 \frac{4}{20} \times \frac{4}{4} = \frac{16}{80}

So, the rational no's between

 rational \: nos. \: between \: \frac{1}{4} \: and \: \frac{1}{5} is

 \frac{17}{80} \: \frac{19}{80} \: \: \frac{18}{80}
