Find relation between x and y if (x,y) is equidistant from (9,1) (3,5)​

Answer:

let A(x,y) B(9,1) C(3,5)

AB=BC(given)

So AB²=BC²

according to distant formula

[ √(9-x)²+(1-y)² ]² = [ √(x-3)²+(y-5)² ]²

(9-x)²+(1-y)²=(x-3)²+(y-5)²

81+x²-18x +1+y²-2y = x²+9-6x+y²+25-10y

82-18x-2y= 34-6x-10y

48=12x-8y

12x-8y-48=0

4(3x-2y-12)=0

3x-2y-12=0
