Given :

p(x) = x³+3x²+3x+1

g(x) = x + 1

From Long Division Method :

Quotient Obtained : x² + 2x + 1

Remainder Obtained : 0

[Refer to the attachment]

Verification :

We know that :

Dividend = Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

x³+ 3x² + 3x + 1 = (x+1) × (x² + 2x + 1) + 0

→ x³+ 3x² + 3x + 1 = x(x² + 2x + 1) + 1(x² + 2x + 1) + 0

→ x³+ 3x² + 3x + 1 = x³+ 2x²+ x + x² + 2x + 1 + 0

→ x³+ 3x² + 3x + 1 = x³+ 3x² + 3x + 1

Hence, Verified!
