I dnt knw if u will understand this but i will try to xplain.Such qstions there is a trick of symmetry.Draw a line btwn A and B nd u will see that it is symmetrical both sides and also u will find that the line passes throu a POINT where the v-shaped wires are joining.Here is the trick in fig. i) the v-shaped wire u have to assume it as a single wire and also that it is not connected to the strainght wire below so two 2ohms will becm in series and they will bcm paralle to the above wire and then u can solve it.

similarly in fig ii) the line will pass throu that point of intersection so again u can assume that there are two separate v-shaped wires that are in parallel wid the upper and lower 1ohms.Then it will bcm easy.cant send a written soln rite now sorryy...hope u understand!!
