According to the figure: [ In the attachment ]

Case-1:

Resistors b and c are connected in series.

Case-2:

case-1 and resistor d are connected in parallel.

Case-3:

case-2, resistors a and e all are connected in series.

Now,

{\orange{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \begin{array}{cc}  \sf \: case - 1 : \\  \\ R_{bc} = b + c = 5 + 5 = 10 \: ohm \\  \\  \sf \: case - 2 :  \\  \\  \frac{1}{R_{bcd}} =  \frac{1}{R_{bc}}    +  \frac{1}{d}   =  \frac{1}{10} +  \frac{1}{5}   =  \frac{3}{10}   \\  \\  \therefore \: R_{bcd} =  \frac{10}{3} \: ohm \\  \\  \sf \: case - 3 :    \\  \\ R_{eq} =a +  R_{bcd} + e \\  \\  = 5 +  \frac{10}{3}  + 5  \\  \\  =  \frac{40}{3} \: ohm \\  \\  \\  \therefore  \: \rm \: equivalent \: resistance \: R_{eq} =  \frac{40}{3}  \:ohm \end{array}}}}}
