Correct Question :

Find Resistance for

Lenght = 5m , Area = 1mm² , {\sf \rho= 10 \times 10^{-8}\: ohm.m}

Formula Used :

\bullet\underline{\boxed{\sf R = \rho \dfrac{\ell}{A}}}

Here ,

\ell = Lenght of wire

\rho = Resistivity

R = Resistance

A = Area of Cross-section

Solution :

Convert Area form mm² to

➞ A = 1mm²

➞ A = {\bf 10^{-6}\:m^2}

\implies{\sf R = 10^{-7} \times \dfrac{5}{10^{-6}} }

\implies{\sf R = 5 \times 10^{-1}\;ohm }

\implies{\bf R = 0.5 \: ohm}

Answer :

Resistance will be 0.5Ω
