At which-which point axis touch or cut the resistances all point having same potential difference.

Between a and x
1/Rq=1/2+1/4+1/4
1/Rq= 1/1 so,

Between x and b.
1/Rq=1/2+1/4+1/4
1/Rq= 1/1 so,

Adding eq 1 and 2 ;
