Heya,

x-1/3x-1/6=0

=>6x^2-2-x=0

=>6x^2-x-2=0

=>6x^2-4x+3x-2=0

=>2x(3x-2)+1(3x-2)=0

=>(2x+1)(3x-2)=0

=>x=2/3 or,-1/2
