2x²-x-6=0
on dividing both sides by 2
x²-x/2-3=0
(x)²-x/2+(1/4)²-49/4=0
(x-1/4)²=49/4
x-1/4=±7/2
x=±7/2+1/4
on dividing both sides by 2
x²-x/2-3=0
(x)²-x/2+(1/4)²-49/4=0
(x-1/4)²=49/4
x-1/4=±7/2
x=±7/2+1/4
