x(2x + 5) = 25 \\  =  > 2 {x}^{2}  + 5x - 25 = 0 \\  =  > 2 {x}^{2}  + (10 - 5)x - 25 = 0 \\  =  > 2 {x}^{2}  + 10x - 5x - 25 = 0 \\  =  > 2x(x + 5) - 5(x + 5) = 0 \\  =  > (x + 5)(2x - 5) = 0

Therefore,
x + 5 = 0 \: and \: 2x - 5 = 0 \\  =  > x =  - 5 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =  > x =  \frac{5}{2}

X(2x+5)=25

2x² +5x =25

2x² +5x -25 = 0

Comparing with ax²+ bx +c = 0

a= 2 , b= 5, c = -25

b²-4ac

= 225

X= -b +- ✓b²-4ac/2a

= -5 +-✓225/2×2

= -5 +15/4 or. -5-15/4

= -5/4. Or. -45/4
