Find selling price (SP) if a profit of 5% is made on (a) A cycle of rupees 700 with rupees 500 as transportation charges

HERE IS THE ANSWER !!

CP of cycle = Rs. 700
Overhead charges = Rs. 500
Total cost = Rs. 700+500 = 1200

Profit % = 5%

Hence , Profit = Rs. 60

SP = CP + P
SP = 1200+60 = Rs. 1260
