Answer:

40 CM

Step-by-step explanation:

AB = 6 CM

AC = 8 CM

BC = 6^2+8^2

= 36+64

=100

= 10^2 = 10 CM

SO WE CAN SAY ,

BC IS A DIAMETER OF THE SEMICIRCLE ACB

RADIUS = 10/2 = 5

THEN AREA OF SEMICIRCLE = PIE R^2/2

= (22/7*5*5)/2

= 11/7*25

= 275/7 CM

BA IS A DIAMETER OF SEMICIRCLE BEA

THEN RADIUS =6/2 = 3

AREA = (22/7*3*3)/2

= 11/7*9

= 99/7

AC IS A DIAMETER OF SEMICIRCLE AFC

THEN RADIUS = 8/2 = 4 CM

AREA = (22/7*4*4)/2

= 11/7*16

= 176/7

=AREA OF TRIANGLE = 1/2 BASE HEIGHT

= 1/2*10*8

=5*8=40 CM^2

AREA OF TRIANGLE-AREA OF CIRCLE = 275/7-40*7/7

=280-275/7

=5/7CM

AREA OF SHADED REGION = 176/7+99/7+5/7

=280/7

= 40 CM
