       Here,

Shaded area is : Total area of rectangle - area of triangle with legs( of 15 cm and 10 cm ).

          Since the triangle with legs of 15 cm and 10 cm is a right angled triangle. Area of triangle is 1 / 2 *( 10 * 15 ) cm^2 = 5*15 cm^2 = 75 cm^2

         Also, total area( area of rectangle ) is 10*20 cm^2 = 200 cm^2. { since area of rectangle is length*breadth ).

 Hence,

Area of shaded region is 200 cm^2 - 75 cm^2 = 125 cm^2
