समीकरण (1) से -

आधार = 12 , कर्ण = -13

लम्ब² = कर्ण² - आधार²

= 169 - 144

= 25

लम्ब = 5

अत: sin theta = लम्ब / कर्ण = 5/-13=-5/13

tan theta = लम्ब / आधार = 5/12
