Step-by-step explanation:

L.C.M of 4 and 2 = 8

1/4 = 2/8

1/2 = 4/8

By multiplying both by 10, we get :

20/80 and 40/80

ANSWER:

Therefore 6 rational numbers :

25/80 , 34/80 , 26/80 , 33/80 , 21/80 and 37/80

Rational numbers are :-

 \frac{7}{24}  \frac{8}{24}  \frac{9}{24}  \frac{10}{24}  \frac{11}{24}  \frac{12}{24}

Given :-

 \frac{1}{4} and \:   \frac{1}{2}

To Find :- Six rational numbers in between

 \frac{1}{4} and \frac{1}{2}

Solution :

Rational number between

 \frac{1}{4}  \: and \frac{1}{2}

Firstly make denominator same for both by taking LCM of denominator 4 and 2 that is 4.

 \frac{1 \times 1}{4 \times 1}  =  \frac{1}{4}

 \frac{1 \times 2}{2\times2 }  =  \frac{2}{4}

Since we need 6 rational numbers so we multiply and divide by 2.

 \frac{1 \times 6}{4 \times 6}  =  \frac{6}{24}

 \frac{2 \times 6}{4 \times 6}  =  \frac{12}{24}

Hence, the 6 rational numbers are

 \frac{7}{24}  \frac{8}{24}  \frac{9}{24}  \frac{10}{24}  \frac{11}{24}  \frac{12}{24}
