Answer:

2 and 3  (can be written as 2/1 and 3/1  so,)

2*10/1*10 and 3*10/1*10

=20/10 and 30 /10

so six rational numbers between 2 and 3 are as follows,

21/10 ,22/10,23/10 ,24/10,25/10 ,26/10 ,27/10 ,28/10,29/10

A Rational number between 2 and 3 is

1/2(2+3)=5/2    i.e, 2<5/2<3

A Rational number between 2 and 5/2 is

1/2(2+5/2)=9/4  i.e, 2<5/2<9/4<3

A Rational number between 5/2 and 9/4 is

1/2(5/2+9/4)=19/8  i.e, 2<5/2<9/4<19/8<3

A Rational number between 3 and 9/4 is

1/2(3+9/4)=21/8  i.e, 2<5/2<9/4<19/8<21/8<3

A Rational number between 5/2 and 21/8 is

1/2(5/2+21/8)=41/16  i.e,2<5/2<9/4<19/8<21/8<41/16<3

A Rational number between 21/8 and 3 is

1/2(21/8+3)=25/16  i.e,2<5/2<9/4<19/8<21/8<41/16<25/16<3

hence six rational numbers between 2 and 3

5/2<9/4<19/8<21/8<41/16 and 25/16
