In mathematics, Rational number is a number that can be expressed in the form of p/q where q ≠ 0.  p and q both are integers.

Given

Numbers are -5/2 and 3/4

Find

Six rational numbers between them

Solution

To find rational numbers between any two numbers first make their denominator same

-5/2 * 4/4 = -20/8

3/4 * 2/2 = 6/8

Now denominator are same

Now you can take any six rational numbers between -20/8 and 6/8

Rational numbers are -19/8, -18/8, -17/8, -16/8, -15/8, -14/8 and many more.

SIx rational numbers between -5/2 and 3/4 are  -19/8, -18/8, -17/8, -16/8, -15/8, -14/8 .
