Find some examples from your surroundings for the following with images. (i) Where lines intersect at right angles. (ii) Parallel Lines (iii) Transversal (i need to do this in a powerpoint so any ideas please help me)

(i) There are various examples of right angles in our surroundings around us both indoors and outdoors. Two examples from our surroundings where lines intersect at right angles are :-

• Crossroads at a junction where one road meets another (outdoors)  
• One wall meets another in our house (indoors)  

(ii) Parallel line examples in real life are railroad tracks, the edges of sidewalks, marking on the streets, zebra crossing on the roads, the surface of pineapple and strawberry fruit, staircase and railings, etc. Angles and Parallel Lines.

(iii) Transversal examples are :-

• Light Wave
• Ripples in Water Pond
• Plucking a Guitar String
• Earthquake (Seismic S wave)
• Tsunami Waves
• X-Rays
• Audience
• Electromagnetic Waves
• Oscillating String or Rope
