case 1

M.P = Rs 650
discount = 10%

S.P = M.P - discount
=650 - 10% of 650
= 650 - 65
= Rs 585

Case 2

M.P = Rs 5450
discount = 5%

S.P = 5450 - 5% of 5450
= 5450 - 272.5
= Rs 5177.50

Hope it helps!!

Hello...
Answer...

Solution :

We have,

MP= Rs. 650, Discount =10%

Discount = 10% of Rs 650 = Rs (10/100 * 650) = Rs 65
Hence, S. P. = M. P. - Discount = Rs 650 -Rs 65 = Rs 585.

We have,

M. P. = Rs 650, Discount % = 10

: S. P. = M. P. * ( 100 - Discount %)/100

=>S. P. = Rs {650* (100 - 10/100)} = Rs ( 65*9) = Rs 585

___________________________________

We have,

M. P. = Rs = 5450, Discount = 5%

:Discount = 5% of Rs 5450 = Rs (5/100*5450) = Rs 272.50

Hence, S. P. = M. P. - Discount = Rs 5450 - Rs 272.50 = Rs 5177.50

We have,

M.P. = Rs 5450, Discount = 5%

: S.P. = M. P. * ( 100 - Discount / 100)
=> S.P. = Rs { 5450*(100 - 5 / 100)} = Rs {545*95/10} = Rs 5177.50.

Hope it helped ☺☺☺☺
