\bf{\underline{Subject and Predicate}}

What are they ?

Subject ==> It tells us about the main topic of the sentence

Predicate ==> It tells us about the Subject.

Example ==> The dog ran down the lane.

The dog => subject

ran down => verb(also predicate)

the lane => predicate

●To find the subject , we need to find the verb first and then question it.

From the above sentence, the verb is

=> ran down

We should question => who is doing it?

=> Who is running down?

The answer we will get is the subject

=> The dog.

Finally , coming to the answer

Subject => Courtesy

Predicate => costs nothing
