Find sum and product of zeros of a quadratic polynomial give below :-

2x²+4x-7​

The sum and product can be find by comparing the given equation with:-

ax²+bx+c=0

2x²+4x-7=0

We get,

a=2 b=4 c= -7

Now, Sum of roots = -b/a

= -4/2 = -2

and,

Product of roots = c/a

= -7/2
