Hi,

1,2,3,4,5....,,40 are first forty natural

numbers.

********************************************

Sum of n natural numbers = sn

Sn = [ n ( n + 1 )/ 2 ]

*********************************************

According to the problem,

n= 40

S40 = [ 40 ( 40 + 1 )/ 2 ]

= 20 × 41
