adding to or taking away an angle equal to multiple of 2π. or 360° does not make any difference in ratios

so

tan ( - 1485°)

= tan ( -1485° + 360° x 4)

= tan (-1485° + 1440°)

= tan ( - 45°)

= - tan 45°. ( tan ( - theta) = - tan theta)

= - 1

now, sec (-780°)

= sec( -780° + 360° x 2)

= sec ( - 780° + 720°)

= sec ( - 60°)

= sec 60°. ( sec (-theta) = sec theta)

= 2

hence the sum is

-1 + 2

= 1
