Solution :

we have numbers -1 and 2

To find ten rational numbers between (-1) and 2 , we must know what are rational numbers.

Rational numbers are those numbers that can be represented as p/q where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0.

If q = 1 then the given rational number will become integer , it means every integer is a rational number.

Now rational numbers between (-1) and 2 , the numbers should be greater than (-1) and smaller than 2.

The numbers greater than -1 and smaller than 2 are 1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 , 1.99 .

Hence rational numbers between (-1) and 2 are 1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 , 1.99 .
