HERE IS THE ANSWER

IF U R ASKED TO FIND ANY TERM FROM END THEN FIRST U HAVE TO CALCULATE COMMON DIFFERENCE
HERE IT IS -4
THEN U HAVE TO REVERSE THE AP
THEN -40 WILL BECOME THE FIRST TERM.
THIS WAY U HAVE TO APPLY THE FORMULA OF FINDING TERM OF AN AP

a=17 n=? an=-40 d=-3
a+(n-1) d = an

17+(n-1)x-3=-40

(n-1)x-3=-40-17

(n-1) = -57/-3
(n-1) = 19
n = 19+1

n=20 Ans.
