Answer:

Question:-

Find the area of the figure.

Answer:- 7525m^2

Explanation:-

Area of ABCDE = Area of ∆ ABH + Area of trapezium BCFH + area of ∆ CDF + area of ∆AED

Now, the area of ABH:-

= 1/2 × AH × HB

= 1/2 × 25 × 25

= 625/2 m^2

= 312.5 m^2

Area of BCFH:-

= 1/2 × ( HB +FC) × HF

= 1/2 ×( 25+50) × 55m^2

= 75 × 55/2 m^2

= 2062.5m^2

Area of ∆ CDF :-

= 1/2 × FC × CD

= 1/2 × 50 × 50 m^2

= 1250 m^2

Area of ∆ AED:-

= 1/2 × AD × EG

= 1/2 × 130 × 60

= 3900 m^2

Area of ABCDE = 312.5 +2062.5 + 1250 + 3900Therefore Area of ABCDE = 7525m^2
