x - 2 = 0
x = 2

p(2) =2x² - 6x²+5x +k

=> 2× 2² - 6×2² + 5×2+k

=>8 - 24 + 10 +k

=> 18-24 +k

k = 6 Answer

If x-2 is a factor then x-2 = 0
                                     x = 2

P(x) =      2x²-6x²+5x+k = 0
P(2) =           -4x²+5x+k = 0
               -4*2 + 5*2 + k = 0
                    -8 + 10 + k = 0
                              2 + k = 0
                                   k = -2

Hope this helpz :)

Fawzan10: -4 * 4 + 5 * 2 + k = 0
Fawzan10: -16+10+k = 0
Fawzan10: -6 + k = 0
Fawzan10: k = 6
Fawzan10: Sorry
