Answer:

In this case

a= 254

D= 4-9= -5 ( The d is common for all terms in an AP)

n=10

an  \: is \: equal \: to \:  \: a + (n - 1)d

a10= 254 + (10-1) -5

a10= 254 + 9(-5)

a10= 254 + (-45)

a10= 209

Therefore the 10th term from the last is 209

Answer:

A.P.=4,9,14...254

To find the tenth term from the end the formulae is nth term=l-(n-1)d where l is the last term and d is the common difference

l=254

d=9-4=5

10th term= 254-(10-1)5

=254-45

=209

Hope it helps
