Given

a1 = 10

a2 = 7

d = a2 - a1 = 3

l = 62

To find

a11 = ?

Solution

☞ firstly we have to find last term

⟹ l = a + (n -1)d

⟹ -62 = 10 + (n - 1)(-3)

⟹ -72 = (n - 1)(-3)

⟹ n - 1 = 24

\boxed{n = 25}

so there are 24 terms of given AP

☞ The 11 term from the last term will be the 15th term.

so, a15 = 10 + (15 - 1)(-3)

= 10 - 42

= 32

Hope it helps

Answer:

♊CORRECT YOUR QUESTION MATE♊

GIVEN TERMS IN AP ARE 10,7,4.......-62

HERE......A=10 A2=7

D=7-10=-3

NOW WE HAVE TO FIND WHICH TERM IS -62

SO.....

AN=-62

A+(N-1) D=-62

10+(N-1) -3=-62

10+(-3N+3) =-62

10-3N+3=-62

13-3N=-62

-3N=-62-13

-3N=-75

N=75/3

N=25

WE HAVE TO FIND 11TH TERM FROM LAST

THE LAST TERM IS 25

24 IS 2ND LAST TERM

23 IS 3RD LAST TERM

SO....11TH TERM FROM LAST IS 25-10=15

SO NOW..... WE HAVE TO FIND 15 TH TERM IN AP

A15=A+14D

=10+14(-3)

=10-42=-32

THEREFORE THE 11TH TERM FROM LAST IS -32
