Find the 11th term from the last term (towards the first term) of the AP: 10,
13) Solve for x and y 2x + y = 7; 4x – 3y = -1​

Answer:

2x+y=7

4x-3y=-1

therefore

2x=7-y

x=7-y÷2

therefore 4x=4(7-y÷2)=14-2y

in the second equation instead of 4x we can put 14-2y

therefore

14-2y-3y= -1

14-5y= -1

15=5y

3=y

2x+y= 7

2x+3=7

2x=4

x=2

therefore

x=2 y=3
