To Find :

  • 11th term of AP

Solution :

  • AP : -3 , -1/2 , 2...

First term (a) = -3

common difference (d) = -1/2 -(-3)

= -1/2 + 3

= 5/2

an = a + (n - 1)d

a11 = -3 + (11 - 1) × 5/2

a11 = -3 + 10 × 5/2

a11 = -3 + 25

a11 = 22

Hence

  • 11th term of AP is 22
