Step-by-step explanation:

let a be the first term and d be the c.d.

.: c.d =-2

given, last term =-100

last 12th term=l-11 d

=-100-{-22}

=-78

hence last 12th term=-78

I hope it is helpful.

 = a + (n - 1)d

a (from the last) = -100

d (from the front) = -4-(-2) = -4+2 = -2

d (from the last) = +2

n = 12

put in formula

 =  - 100 + (12 - 1)2

 =  - 100 + (11) \times 2

 =  - 100 + 22

 =  - 78
