Here, First term (a) = 4

Common Difference= a2 - a1

=> d = 1 - 4

=> d = -3

• By using the formula = an = a + (n - 1)d

=> an = 4 + (13 - 1)(-3)

=> an = 4 + (12)(-3)

=> an = 4 + (-36)

=> an = 32

13th term of the AP will be 32.
