a= 10
d= -3


a13= a +12d
= 10+ 12(-3)
= 10-36
= -26

AP = 10, 7, 4, ...

Here the first term ( a ) = 10. Common difference = 10 - 7 = ( - 3 ).

To find the thirteenth term of the AP.

a₁₃ = a + 12 d

We know the values of 'a' and 'd'. Hence substituting them we get,

=> a₁₃ = 10 + 12 ( -3 )

=> a₁₃ = 10 - 36

=> a₁₃ = -26

Hence the thirteenth term of the AP is -26.
