Heya mate, Here is ur answer ⏬⏬

Given that the AP is :

-40,-15,10.....

a(first term)=-40

d(common difference)=a2-a

d=-15-(-40)

d=-15+40

d=25

We know the formula

a\sub{n}=a+(n-1)d

Here n=20

a20=-40+(20-1)×25

a20=-40+19×25

a20=-40+475

a20=435

So, 20th term of the given AP is 435 .

Let the first term be a.

Let the common difference be d.

Given:

a=-40

d=-15-(-40)

=-15+40

=25

n th term is a+(n-1)d

20th term=a+(20-1)d

=a+19d

=-40+19*25

=-40+475

=475-40

=435.

Your answer:435

Hope it helps you:-)
