Solution:-
In the given AP,
a = first term = 100
d = common difference = 96 - 100 = - 4
So, 25th term is,
t₂₅ = a + (n - 1)d
= 100 + (25-1) (- 4)
= 100 + (24 × -4)
= 100 - 96
t₂₅ = 4

a = 100 \\ d = 96 - 100 \\ \: \: \: \: = - 4 \\ t_{25} = ? \\ n = 25
 t_{25} = a + (n - 1)d \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: = 100 + (25 - 1) - 4 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: = 100 + 24 \times ( - 4) \\ \: \: \: \: \: = 100 - 96 \\ \: \: \: \: \: = 4
