Difference between term = - 5/2-(-5)=5-5/2=5/2

Formula of nth term

Tn= T1+ (n-1)d

T25 = - 5 + ( 25-1)(5/2)

= - 5 + 24(5/2)

a25 = ?

a1 = - 5

a2 = - 5/2

a3 = 0

a4 = 5/2

Here, to find d,

d = a2 - a1

d = -5/2 - (-5)

d = -5/2 + 5

d = ( - 5 + 10)/2

d = 5/2

Therefore,

a1 = - 5, d = 5/2, n = 25

an = a+ ( n-1) d

a25 = - 5 + (25 - 1) 5/2

a25 = - 5+ ( 24) 5/2

a25 = - 5 + 12* 5

a25 = -5 + 60

a25 = 55
