Step-by-step explanation:

2x^2+x-6=0

2x^2+4x-3x-6=0

2x(X+2)-3(X+2)=0

(X+2)(2x-3)=0

X+2=0 or 2x-3=0

X= -2 or 2x=3

x=-2 or X=3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

2x²+x-6=0

multiply last term with first term

so -6×2x²=-12x²

now find factors of -12x²when which multiplied we get -12x² and when sub of

add we get x

factor=4x(‐3x)

so now substitute this factor in the place of middle term

2x²+4x(‐3x)‐6=0

2x(x+2)‐3(x+2)=0

so (x+2),(2x‐3) =0

if (x+2)=0 then x=(‐2)

or

if(2x‐3)=0 then 2x=3

x=3/2

thank you ☺️
