Let a be the first term and d the common difference of the A.P .... . a1= -2 and. a2 = -7 :::: a = -2 and. a+d =-7. solving the equations we get. a = -2 and. d=-5............... a31 =a +(n-1) d = -2+(31-1)-5 = -2+(30*-5) = -2+(-150) = -2-150 = -152. the answer is -152
