Given

17, 14, 11....are in AP

Total number of terms = 30

FORMULA USED

aₙ = a + (n-1)d

aₙ = The last term

a = The first term

n = number of terms

d = Common difference

The 6th term from the end is the 24th term

\implies a + 23 d

Here a = 17 and d = -3

Substituting, we get,

\implies 17-69\\\implies -52

 \rm \: AP= \: 17,14,11,........
 \rm \: Number \: of \: terms = 30
 \rm \bf Common \: difference= 14-17=-3
 \rm {6}^{th} \: term \: from \: the \: end \: = {24}^{th} \: term
 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bf \boxed{ \rm \bf \: x_{n} = a + (n - 1)d}
 \rm {24}^{th} \: term = 17 + (24 - 1) - 3 \\ \rm \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 17 - 69 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bf = - 52
