To Find :

  • 7 rational numbers between \dfrac {3}{9} and \dfrac {2}{14}

Solution :

As, to find rational numbers between any two numbers,

  • Firstly make there denominators same.
  • We have to multiple them by (n+1) number.
  • Here , the value of n is the number of rational's to obtain.

Making the denominator same:

= \dfrac {3}{9}

= \dfrac {1}{2}

= \dfrac {7}{14}

And

= \dfrac {2}{14}

= \dfrac {1}{7}

= \dfrac {2}{14}

\\

Now

According to the Question:

  • We have to find 7 rational numbers so , we will multiple (7+1) to the numbers.

That is,

= \dfrac {7}{14} × 8

= \dfrac {56}{14}

\\

= \dfrac {2}{14} × 8

= \dfrac {16}{14}

The 7 rational numbers between 3/9 and 2/14 are 17/14 , 18/14, 19/14, 20/14, 21/14, 22/14, 23/14, 24/14.
