n = 8

common difference =  a2-a1

                                  =10.6-10.0

                                      =0.6

use the formula

a8 = a+ ( n-1) * d

     = 10 + (8-1) 0.6

           = 10+7*0.6

           = 10+4.2

           = 14.2

so the 8 th term of ap is 14.2
