g = GM/R²
So g at half radius = GM/(R/2)²
                              = GM/R²/4
                              = 4 GM/R²
Hence, acceleration is 4 times or 4 * 9.8 = 39.2m/s²

ManthanBhende: it's wrong
Anonymous: it is right provided you think that mass is now concentrated in the remaining portion
