Find the acceleration of a car which increases its speed from 20 m/s to 50 m/s in 5 seconds.​

Initial velocity = u = 20km/hr = 20 x 5/18 = 5.56 m/s

Final velocity = v = 50 km/hr = 50 x 5/18 = 13.89 m/s 

Time = t = 05 sec

Acceleration = a 

a = (v- u) / t

a = (v- u) / t   = (13.89 -  5.56) / 5

a = (v- u) / t   = (13.89 -  5.56) / 5   = 12.778 m/s²
