Answer:

Answer: The acceleration is 4 \bold{m/s^2}m/s2

Given:

Force = 12 N

Mass = 3 kg

Solution:

According to newton’s second law, we get,

F = ma

Where,

F = Force needed to accelerate the body

m = Mass

a = Acceleration

According to this law, when an object of certain mass are required to move, then an acceleration is applied on the body. When the object’s mass is higher, the force is also higher (required).

a=\frac{F}{m}a=mF

On substituting the given value, we get,

\Rightarrow a=\frac{12}{3}⇒a=312

\therefore a=4 \ m / s^{2}∴a=4 m/s2

F=ma

m=3kg
F=12N

Therefore a=F/m
a=12/3
a=4 metre per second square
