perimeter = sum of all side

as it's parallelogram it's opposite sides are equal

=> perimeter= 2×(sum of adjacent side)

=> 140 = 2× ( a+b )......{ a and b are its adjacent side ..let }

also a:b = 3:4

=> a/b = 3/4

=> a = 3b/4

putting value of a in above equation

we get,

140 = 2× ( 3b/4 + b )

=> 70 = ( 3b + 4b ) ÷ 4

=> 70×4 = 7b

=> b = 40cm

now , a= 3b/4 = 3×40/4

=> a = 30cm
