Find the aera of triangle whose sides are 18 cm,24cm,30cm. Also find the length of the altitute corresponding to the largest side.​

S=a+b+c/2

= 18+24+30/2

= 72/2

finding area of triangle by Heron's formulae..

= √s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

s=a+b+c/2

s=18+24+30/2

s=36....

Now..

√36(36-18) (36-24) (36-30)

√36(18) (12) (6)

√36×1296

√46656

=216...

so the area of triangle = 216 cm sq. ....

...
