40 + 90 + y = 180

130+ y = 180

 y = 180 - 130

 y = 50

Now let us find angle x as we have found angle y .

 60+50+x=180

 110+ x = 180

 x = 180-110

 x = 70

As we have 40 + x is a complete angle . Let's find x .

70 - 40 = 30

So angle X is 30 and y is 50
